This workshop on electronic music
creation will focus on the boundaries and
intersections between sound design and digital music composition and will
illuminate the origins of the new musical movement called "Totalism."
Using both digital and analogue sound as source material with a sensibility
towards the aesthetics of "musique-concrete". Workshop participants
will
work with various musical and non-musical tools to explore and create their
own digital sound collages and provide musical soundscapes for the other

will
be presented at a final concert/exhibition.
