Interactive Art Workshop aims to make an introduction to the new terms of Contemporary Art with reference to “new technologies” . In the Interactive section of the workshop, John Plenge will emphasize the role of digital media and sound in relation with audiance participation while Tim Hailey will show "the totally non-digital, completely personally interactive nature" of
his work. The workshop will be on both theoretical and practical levels. The productions will be exhibited in the end with the participation of the audience.

Tim Hailey’s interactive works have been exhibited in major museums including the New Orleans Museum of Contemporary Art . The artist is also a curator in Here Art NY. John Plenge is an instructor on Digital Interactive Design at the Grace C. School, NY.

The workshops will be held in English and Turkish on PC and Mac computers. Participation is limited to 12 persons.There will also be a scholarship given to one of the participants. The skin diving sessions are free for the participants of the digital workshops. Those participating in all of the A or B series will receive a 30% discount for the workshops. All participants will receive a certificate at the end of the workshop.

Gumusluk Academy also has housing facilities for 17.50 US$– full pension, including bed, breakfast and lunch.
